Natural cork boards have many uses, food safe and heat resistant they make great serving platters and trivets.
After the annual harvest, every nine years per tree, the cork bark is dried, heated in scalding water, pressed flat, cut to size and sanded.
These pieces each treated with great care. The sizing is an average as no two are exactly alike.
